KERSHAW COUNTY, SC : 1 airlifted to hospital after I-20 crash in Kershaw County on Wednesday, 3rd September 2024

One person was injured in a crash on I-20 Wednesday night, according to the Kershaw County Fire Service (KCFS).

Fire officials said they responded to mile marker 85 along I-20 westbound in Kershaw County where they found a crash where a person was trapped inside a car.

The identity of the person and circumstances surrounding the crash are unknown at this time.

The westbound side of the interstate and one lane on the eastbound side were briefly shut down while officials worked to clear the scene. However, in a follow-up post on Facebook, KCFS said fire units have cleared the scene.
