Cynthia N. Clark, 47, of Canton, suffered moderate injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 6:45 p.m. Sunday, July 15, in rural Lewis County. She went by Lewis County ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Clark was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe on Route P two miles southwest of Canton when she lost control of it due to a vehicle defect. The vehicle went off the right side of the road and hit an embankment. Clark was not using a safety device.
The Canton Fire Department and Lewis County Sheriff’s Department assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
