GREEN, OH : Car crashes into Summit County home, kills man sleeping inside on Sunday, 19th February 2023

A 69-year-old man was killed Sunday morning as he slept when a car lost control and slammed into the victim’s home, authorities say.

The crash occurred at the home on Barth Drive about 2:40 a.m., according to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office. The driver of a 2010 Subaru, a 32-year-old woman from Green, was traveling on Mayfair Road crossed the centerline, went off the left side of the road, then crashed into the residence, the sheriff’s office says.
