Baltimore, MD : 61-year-old woman died when struck by a car in West Baltimore on Tuesday, Nov 17, 2015

A 61-year-old woman was struck by a car and killed while crossing the street in West Baltimore Tuesday, police said.

The woman, who was not identified, was hit by a car about 7:40 p.m. at the intersection of N. Fulton Avenue and Mosher Street in Sandtown-Winchester, police said.

She was taken to a hospital, where she later died, police said.

The driver of the car was not injured and remained at the scene. Baltimore police are investigating.
