LAS CRUCES, NM : Driver hospitalized after crashing into storage building next to home in Las Cruces on Thursday, 15th June 2023

A car crashed through a fence and into a detached storage building on the side of a mobile home in Las Cruces Thursday morning.

Firefighters responded to the crash at the intersection of Three Crosses Avenue and Alameda Boulevard shortly after 9 a.m.

The driver of the vehicle was provided first aid and then taken to the hospital for evaluation. His injuries are not life-threatening, according to the fire department.

LCFD’s Technical Rescue Team constructed temporary bracing to help support the walls of the damaged building to prevent it from collapsing.
