COMPTON, CA : St. Louis man killed in one-vehicle crash Wednesday night at Compton on state Highway 43 on Thursday, 13th December 2018

Arkansas State Police say a 39-year-old St. Louis, Missouri, man was killed about 7:30 p.m. in a one-vehicle wreck on state Highway 43 near Compton and a passenger in the vehicle was injured.

According to a report by Trooper Jacob T. Boswell, Michael D. Wilson, 39, of St. Louis was southbound on Highway 43 in a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 when the pickup left the roadway, hit a tree and a barbed wire fence.North Arkansas Regional Medical Center requested Harrison Fire and Rescue respond to the crash due to entrapment in the vehicle, a police log shows.

The report said Wilson was killed in the crash, while a passenger in the vehicle, 29-year-old Leslie S. Randle of Bel Ridge, Missouri, was injured and taken to NARMC.

Bel Ridge is a suburban city in St. Louis County, Missouri.

The report said the weather was cloudy and the road dry at the time of the crash.
