Memphis, TN : 1-year-old injured in Hit-and-run crash in North Memphis on Saturday afternoon, February 28, 2015

A one year old was left in critical condition on Saturday after a car hit the child in the 1300 block of Bryan Street.

According to the Memphis Police Department, an early 2000 model blue Buick hit the toddler shortly before 3:30 p.m. The driver of the car left the scene.

The child was transported to Le Bonheur in critical condition; no further details are available at this time.

WMC Action News 5 spoke to the family, and they say the child is doing well.
