Sutter County, CA : Person killed by suspected DUI driver along Highway 99 in Sutter County on Thursday, 19th October 2023

A person died after a crash involving a suspected DUI driver Thursday in Sutter County, according to California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened along Highway 99 near Sacramento Avenue. CHP said around 12:20 a.m. a man was driving a red Honda when he crossed into the northbound lanes and collided with a blue Honda Pilot. The driver of the Honda Pilot died at the scene. The person's identity wasn't released but CHP said they were 63 years old.
