Shingobee Township, MN : Motorcycle crashes into power pole, seriously injuring 2 on Saturday, 15th June 2019

Two people were seriously injured Saturday, June 15, when the Honda motorcycle they were on left the roadway near Arola Road at 73rd Street Northwest in Walker and struck a power pole.

The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the crash at 12:45 a.m., along with the Walker Police Department, the Cass County Sheriff's Office, North Memorial Ambulance and Air Care.The state patrol reported the occupants of the motorcycle—April S. Grossman, 28, Walker, and Derek G. Hogan, 30, Nevis—were not wearing helmets and were both transported to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale for life-threatening injuries. A hospital spokesperson Sunday stated Grossman was in serious condition and Hogan was critical condition.

The crash is under investigation to determine the details, including who was operating the motorcycle and who the passenger was.
