Port Chester, NY : Elderly NY man victim of accident on Monday, February 6th 2017

man in his 80’s was the victim of a fatal accident Monday night.
According to the latest update from Greenwich Police:
On Monday February 6, 2017 at approximately 6:30 a Port Chester NY man in his eighties was crossing West Putnam Ave. at the intersection with Western Junior Highway when he was struck by a car and suffered serious injuries. He later died at Greenwich Hospital. The driver of the car immediately stopped and rendered aid to the pedestrian along with a witness to the incident.
This incident is currently under investigation by the Traffic Section of the Greenwich Police Department. The pedestrian’s name is being withheld pending notification of family.
