Dallas, TX : One person killed in multi-car crash on Interstate 20 in Dallas on May 13,2014

One person was killed Tuesday afternoon and two others were hospitalized in a multiple-vehicle accident on Interstate 20 in Southwest Dallas.

The Dallas County Sheriff's Department said a man driving a Chevrolet Impala hit the truck of a work crew in the area, then collided with two other vehicles just east of the Bonnie View Road exit.

The driver of the Chevrolet died. No identification was available.

Westbound rush hour traffic was restricted to just one lane, leading to a lengthy delay for motorists. There were also delays from onlookers in the eastbound lanes of the freeway.
