A side-swipe crash sent two people to the hospital during the morning rush hour on Route 108 on Wednesday, according to police.
Police responded to a call of Toyota driving northbound veering across the center line and striking a Volvo S80 along its side in the vicinity of Day Break Lane and Route 108 at approximately 9:10 a.m. Oct. 24.
Officer Jeff Simes said a man and child were transported to Exeter Hospital as a precaution, but he did not have an update on their condition. He said a third passenger in the Volvo was not hurt, and the driver of the Toyota was the lone occupant.
Asked if the driver of the Toyota could be facing any charges, Simes said the crash was still under investigation.
