Reno, NV : Woman in critical condition after hit-and-run crash near 4th and Sage St. on Sunday, Sep 6, 2015

Reno Police are looking for a suspect involved in a hit-and-run near 4th and Sage St. Officers say the incident happened shortly after 10:00pm Sunday.

Police say a woman was walking on the sidewalk going westbound on 4th Street when she was struck by a car. Witnesses tell police the woman may have stepped off the sidewalk into the street.

The driver left the scene. The suspects car is described as a beige Sedan, which could have a shattered windshield.

The victim was transported to a local hospital. Police say she is in critical condition.

Eastbound lanes on 4th Street between Sage and Line are re-open. Westbound lanes will be closed for the next several hours as the investigation is underway.
