Billings,MT : Car collision sends two people to the hospital on January, Friday 19th 2018

Two people were rushed to the hospital after being pulled out of a vehicle due to a crash on S. 48th St. W and King Ave. West.

Battalion Chief Marcus Evenson said the call came in around 6:26 P.M.

Emergency vehicles responded to the crash where they found two vehicles in a ditch right off the intersection. Two people were reportedly trapped and were extracted from one of the vehicles and transported to the hospital for injuries.

Some of the people involved were minors. Authorities said alcohol and drugs are not a factor and the investigation is ongoing. The crash caused traffic to be blocked for a short time.

This serves a s a reminder that even though temperatures have been warmer lately, the roads are still slick and icy in some locations.
