Circleville, OH : A Circleville woman was transported to the hospital after she was hit riding her Honda scooter on Tuesday, June 6, 2017

A Circleville woman was transported to the hospital after she was hit riding her Honda scooter around 3:50 p.m. Tuesday on N. Pickaway St. According to Circleville Police Officer Lance Canterbury, Elizabeth Williams, 26, of Lancaster, stopped for the stop sign at Sharon Road and then proceeded onto N. Pickaway Street into the path of a northbound 2002 Honda Metropolitan scooter driven by Gerri Carroll of Circleville. Carroll was transported to Berger Hospital by squad. Williams was cited by Officer Canterbury for failure to yield.
