PINAL COUNTY, AZ : Deadly crash shuts down section of Interstate 10 eastbound in Pinal County on Sunday, 18th February 2024

A Good Samaritan has died after a crash on Interstate 10 in Pinal County Sunday morning.

Arizona Department of Public Safety officials say the crash took place around 6:30 a.m. on I-10 near mile marker 185, north of Casa Grande.

Officials say the incident began when an ambulance driver possibly fell asleep. The ambulance lost control, traveling back and forth across the roadway before rolling and landing on its wheels near the right shoulder.
