Kennett, MO : Kennett man hurt in traffic accident on Hwy 84 on Sunday, December 12th 2016

A Kennett man was hurt in a two vehicle traffic accident on Highway 84, two miles east of Kennett. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened when a car driven by Jeffery W. Cooksey of Kennett crossed the center line and struck a car driven by Daniel Wilhite, 28, of Rector.

Cooksey received minor injuries and was taken to Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The accident happened at 5:20 p.m. Sunday.
