Meridian, MS : A two-car collision on Highway 11 on Monday, August 7, 2017

A two-car collision on Highway 11 South, between Bronson Road and Barmer Lane, killed two men and critically injured one woman Monday afternoon near the Savoy community.

Derrick Rashawn Moore, 18, and Carter Jace Little, 21, died in the accident, according to Sgt. Andy West, with the Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H.

Moore, of Meridian, drove a yellow 2015 Chevy Camaro convertible with Little, of Enterprise, as a passenger. Bonnie Roberson, 41, drove a red 2014 Toyota sedan.

West said Roberson, who wore her seatbelt, was in critical condition around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday. At the scene, emergency responders had to free Roberson from her vehicle and listed her as incapacitated on the accident report.
