ST. LOUIS, MO : Crash involving motorcycle closes SB I-270 in Creve Coeur on Tuesday, 18th July 2023

All lanes of southbound I-270 from Ladue Road to Highway 40/I-64 were closed for part of night due to a serious crash involving a motorcycle.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, this was a two-vehicle crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle. The motorcyclist was thrown from the motorcycle and transported in serious condition.

According to a crash report by MSHP, 18-year-old Jaydon Woodall, the driver of the motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

MSHP said that Woodall was speeding and attempted an improper pass of another vehicle and hit the back of a Volkswagen. The motorcycle was laid down and traveled off of the right side of the roadway. The other driver involved in the accident was uninjured.
