Smith County, TX: Traffic flowing again at scene of I-20 crash in Smith County on Friday, July 17th 2015

Eastbound traffic on Interstate 20 is moving again after a wrong-way crash east of the Starrville community in Smith County.Around 2 a.m. Friday, a vehicle traveling west in the eastbound lanes of the interstate struck an 18-wheeler near mile marker 575, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.The unidentified driver of the car was transported to a Tyler hospital with serious injuries. The truck driver was also hospitalized, however, their injuries were described as non-life-threatening.The Smith County Sheriff's Office and Texas DPS are at the scene conducting an investigation.A tow company removed the tanker truck from the roadway.
