Chester County, S.C : One killed in wreck on I-77 in Chester County on Friday, August 22, 2014

A person died after a crash in Chester County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The accident happened around 12:40 p.m. Friday on Interstate 77 northbound. Troopers said Patricia Bolyn, 63, was driving a 2014 Dodge van and was stopped for traffic on I-77. John Carter, 63, driving a 2014 Dodge van was stopped behind her. A third driver in a 1998 Oldsmobile came up behind the other two drivers. The driver was going too fast for conditions and hit Carter’s vehicle and causing the van to ram into the other.
