Dayton, OH : 2 pregnant women say ‘road rage’ caused crash on Sunday, July 6, 2014

One driver in a possible road rage incident is out of the hospital.

Dayton police say a second victim remains hospitalized in critical condition.

They, along with two pregnant women, were involved in a crash on West Grand and Forest avenues Sunday.

Police say one of the women told officers that someone smashed her car with a tire iron, then chased her car through city streets. The other woman was a passenger in her car.

Her car crashed into a pickup truck that then hit another.

The car that was chasing the women’s car fled and police are still looking for them. Police are looking for a blue Mercury.

Police are investigating the claims that a road rage incident caused the crash. They are questioning witnesses to try and verify the woman’s story.

The two pregnant women are also hospitalized, but should be okay.

No charges have been filed so far.
