Manchester, N.H : Man in wheelchair hit by car near Interstate 293 ramp in Manchester on Wednesday, July 8, 2015

A man in a motorized wheelchair was hit by a car in Manchester on Wednesday morning.

Police said the man was on Granite Street crossing the Interstate 293 off-ramp around 7:30 a.m. when a driver who was stopped at a red light took a right-hand turn and struck the man.

The man suffered a minor arm injury and was taken to a local hospital as a precaution.

Police said the road is open and the accident scene is cleared, but delays are possible in the area.
