Berkshire, VT : 46-year-old man dead, four others injured in head-on crash on Route 105 in Berkshire on Wednesday, December 24, 2014

Vermont State Police say a car crossed over the center line of a roadway and hit another car head-on, killing one driver and injuring four people in the other car.

Lance Magoon of Richford, was eastbound on Route 105 in Berkshire at about 3 p.m. Wednesday when his Saab crossed into the oncoming lane and hit a Subaru driven by 19-year-old Chantelle Nolan of Enosburg.

Police say the 46-year-old Magoon died at the scene. Nolan was seriously injured and taken to Fletcher Allen hospital. Three juveniles in her car were also injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
