North Fort Myers, FL : 1 dead after crash on Bayshore Road in North Fort Myers on Saturday, 19th October 2024

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that occurred on Bayshore Road and Twin Brooks Road in North Fort Myers that left one dead on Saturday.

Authorities said a black pickup truck was traveling east on State Road 78 (Bayshore Rd.) before making a left turn into Twin Brooks Road.

Another vehicle was traveling west on SR 78 in the outside lane.

When the truck made its turn, it moved into the other vehicle’s path, causing the front of the vehicle to collide with the front passenger side of the truck.

The driver of the other vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver of the truck was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
