DAUPHIN COUNTY, PA : Dauphin County section of Route 147 reopens after deadly pedestrian-involved crash on Wednesday, 13th March 2024

A pedestrian was hit and killed on a Dauphin County roadway early this morning, according to Pennsylvania State police.

All lanes of Route 147 (South River Road) were closed in both directions between Exit: US 22 West/US 322 West and Mountain Road for several hours after the crash occurred at 5:20 a.m., according to 511PA.com. The road reopened about three hours later, Pennsylvania State Police said.
