Cass Lake, MN : Man struck and killed while walking with two others along a road near Cass Lake on Wednesday, January 21, 2015

A 32-year-old man was killed Wednesday when a truck with a snowplow attached struck him in northern Minnesota, the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office said.
The incident happened around 8 p.m. in southeastern Beltrami County.
According to the sheriff's office, the truck was going north and the victim was walking south on the west side of the road with two other people. The man ran across the southbound lane and into the path of the truck. The driver, Clifford Frank Beaulieu, 20, of Cass Lake, did not see the man. Timothy John Widstrom of Walker died at the scene, the sheriff's office said.
