Orange County,CA : Two people injured in car slammed into a tree in Orange County Sunday August 2nd 2015.

Two people were injured when a car slammed into a tree in Orange County Sunday.Orange County Fire Rescue said the vehicle crashed off Votaw Road near Lake Pleasant Road in Apopka.

"These roads are very wet, and we want everyone to arrive home safely, wear your seat belt. Don't drive beyond conditions of the road, in fact drive slower," said Mark Smothers, with the Orange County Fire Department.

Rescuers had to cut the top of the car off to get three people out. They had to remove the tree as well.

Two people were taken to the hospital, and one of them is in critical condition.
