Massillon, OH : Five people injured afte a two-car crash on State Route 172 in Massillon on Wednesday, Aug 12, 2015

Officials are investigating after a two-car crash injured five people Wednesday.

Shortly after 8 p.m., a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling West on State Route 172 and struck a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am, while it was turning left into the Meadows Plaza.

The driver of the Chevrolet, 18-year-old Aliyah Broad, of Massillon, sustained minor injuries and was taken to Affinity Hospital. The front seat passenger, Alexa Bailey was not injured.

Lorenso Moore, 62, of Canton, was driving the Pontiac. He sustained non-incapacitating injuries and was taken to Affinity Hospital.

His front seat passenger, Patricia Moore, 62, of Canton, sustained serious injuries and remains at Aultman Hospital.

Two juveniles in the Pontiac's rear seats were both injured. One was flown to Akron Children’s Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
