Caldwellcounty, NC : Driver in Caldwell County hit-and-run crash Tuesday around 6:30 p.m. on Highway 321 June 24th 2014.

Officials in Caldwell County are asking for the public's assistance in locating a driver they say struck two people on a moped Tuesday.

The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. on Highway 321 near Grace Chapel Road.

Troopers told that dark green SUV struck two people who were riding on a moped.

Both were taken to Frye Regional Hospital with serious injuries.
