Warrenton, VA : A fatal motorcycle crash in Lorton Friday, October, 13th 2017

Fairfax County police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash on U.S. 1 near Interstate 95 in Lorton.

The crash happened late Saturday morning in the 9900 block of Richmond Highway. All northbound lanes of U.S. 1 remained closed as of 2 p.m., as did the ramp from I-95 north to U.S. 1.

Fairfax police say the wreck involved a motorcycle and vehicle. One person was killed. No other details have yet been released.
