Wilton, CT : Driver injured after car crashes into building in Wilton early Saturday morning, March 25, 2017

An Orange man forced three Wilton businesses to shudder their doors after he crashed his car through their front windows early Saturday morning, police said.
Police said that Zachary Prete, 20, was traveling north on Danbury Road around 2:30 a.m. Saturday when he lost control of his vehicle, skidded across the southbound lanes and went barreling into the buildings located at 239 Danbury Road.
The crash caused such extensive damage to the building that three businesses — Naked Greens, Reiki Asian Bistro and Rose II Nails & Spa — will temporarily close their businesses until repairs to the building’s utilities can be made.
Prete suffered injuries during the accident, and he was transported to Norwalk Hospital to be treated for minor injuries. Police said that they are investigating the cause of the accident.
Prete has not yet been charged for anything related to the accident.
