Lake City ,FL : 40-year-old Candido Castillo Seriously injured after Crash U.S. Highway 90 on Saturday ,April 4th 2015

A 40-year-old man from Lake City was flown to the hospital after a crash on U.S. Highway 90.

The crash happened around 10 p.m. Saturday night, about half mile east of County Road 10A.

According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, 40-year-old Candido Castillo was going east on U.S. 90. He came up on a pickup that was going slower that he was, and didn't slow down in time, so he ended up rear ending it.

FHP is investigating the crash. Their report says alcohol was involved.

Suwanee County Fire Rescue responded to the scene and treated Castillo. He was then flown to UF Health in Gainesville. Castillo's injuries are listed as serious.

Three people were in the pickup that Castillo hit. One of the passengers had to go the hospital as well. He was taken to Shands Lake Shore Medical Center in Lake City.

The names of the people in the pickup that was rear ended are being withheld, because they are all under age.
