Two Charles City residents have died in a crash near the northeastern Iowa town of Floyd.

The Mason City Globe Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/2dj5ZdR ) that the crash happened Friday afternoon on the Avenue of the Saints between Rudd and Floyd. The Iowa State Patrol says 75-year-old Marilyn Wulff and a

passenger in her car, 14-year-old Jaden Wulff, where killed.

The patrol says that crash happened when Marilyn Wulff failed to stop at a stop sign at U.S. Highway 18 and was broadsided by a pickup. The pickup’s 25-year-old driver, from Forest Lake, Minnesota, was not injured.
