Greenville, SC : Pedestrian died in a fatal hit-and-run collision involving three vehicles in Greenville County on Sunday, November 27, 2016

Troopers are investigating a fatal hit-and-run collision involving a pedestrian and three vehicles in Greenville County overnight.

The crash occurred Sunday at 12:05 a.m. about 3.5 miles west of Greenville on SC 25.

According to the report, a 38-year-old driving a pickup truck, a 70-year-old driving an SUV, and another unknown vehicle were involved in a collision that took the life of a pedestrian.

The male pedestrian was pronounced dead on scene after being struck by one of the vehicles.

The drivers of the two known vehicles were both wearing seat belts, and were not entrapped or ejected during the crash.

One of the vehicles involved in the crash left the scene. There is no available description of the vehicle at this time.

South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers are investigating the fatal collision.
