Oklahoma City, OK : Apache man dies in crash in Comanche County on Tuesday, January 24, 2017

An Apache man died in a traffic accident Tuesday in Comanche County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Odell Shackelford Jr., 74, died in the crash about 3:10 p.m. Tuesday at U.S. 62 and Edgewater Boulevard, 8 miles west of Fletcher, the patrol reported.

Shackelford was driving north on U.S. 62 when his vehicle went off the roadway and hit an embankment. He was not wearing a seat belt.
