KANSAS CITY, MO : Driver hits poles tree killed in overnight crash on Monday, 25th March 2024

Just after 2 a.m. Monday, Kansas City Police responded to calls of a deadly crash at 33rd Street and Indiana Avenue.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the Missouri Highway Patrol was in pursuit of a white Jeep Grand Cherokee that had refused to stop for a traffic violation.

The Jeep was said to be speeding westbound on 33rd Street.

In the area of 33rd and Indiana, the Jeep ran off the road, hitting two telephone poles, and then a large tree.
