Collebrook ,NH : 49 -Years old Michael F. Amer injured seriously in crash after he lost Control of snowmobile and it hit into trees on Thursday night,March 19th 2015

A 49-year-old man has suffered serious leg and chest injuries in a snowmobile crash in Colebrook on Thursday night, according to authorities.


Michael F. Amer of Swanzey was injured after he lost control of the snowmobile and it went over an embankment at the edge of the trail, hitting several small trees.

He was taken to a local hospital and then transported by helicopter to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department and emergency personnel from the Colebrook Fire Department assisted at the scene.

A preliminary investigation indicates that the accident was caused by something interfering with the snowmobile's throttle.
