Staten Island, NY : SUV wrecked by truck in West Brighton crash on Thursday evening, May 19, 2016

An SUV was heavily damaged after crashing into a truck in West Brighton Thursday evening.

At approximately 5:25 p.m., a four-door beige Lexus collided with a truck at the intersection of Richmond Terrace and Bement Avenue.

The operator of the SUV suffered minor injuries, according to an FDNY spokesman.

In a photo captured at the scene of the crash, the driver-side of the Lexus appears to have significant damage to it's front-end and side-door.
