BETTENDORF, IA : 1 dead after 3-vehicle crash in Bettendorf on Monday, 24th April 2023

One person is dead after a three-vehicle crash on Grant Street near I-74 Monday morning, police said.

The Bettendorf Police Department responded about 5:50 a.m. Monday to a crash at the intersection of I-74 westbound off-ramp and Grant Street, according to a media release.

A 1997 Chevrolet Silverado was exiting I-74 West and traveling through the intersection at Grant Street when it was hit by a 2021 Dodge Ram eastbound, according to police. A third stationary vehicle was hit.

The driver of the Silverado was pronounced deceased on scene, police said. The two other involved drivers were uninjured.
