Detroit, MI : Warren woman killed in hit-and-run accident on February, Saturday 3rd 2018

A 37-year-old Warren woman was killed Saturday in what police say was a hit-and-run accident on 12 Mile Road.

The incident occurred just after 6:30 p.m. as the woman, identified as Gwendolyn Alisha Henderson, was walking across 12 Mile just west of Dequindre.

Authorities say witnesses described the vehicle as a dark-colored, newer model full-size pickup.

Debris from the scene appears to have come from a 2005 to 2008 Dodge Ram with a damaged front driver's side grill and a missing driver's side headlight, police say.
