Autopsies are set on the bodies of a 51-year-old woman and her 23-year-old son after a car crash in northeastern Pennsylvania.
The Wayne County coroner says Karen Peterson and her son, Sterling Petersun, died in the crash on Route 590 shortly after 2 p.m. Monday. The coroner says the young man's last name was spelled differently than his mother's.
The road, also known as Hamlin Highway, is in Salem Township, about 15 miles east of Scranton.
Residents say a bend in the road can be dangerous when motorists drive too fast.
State police from Honesdale haven't said what caused the crash.
