One dead, two injured after vehicle hits truck trailer in Wendell Idaho

Idaho State Police is investigating a two-car crash that claimed the life of a Wendell woman and injured two children in her car. The collision happened on 375 West Road in Jerome County Monday afternoon. Police say 27-year-old Chasity Pearson was driving with two kids with her, when for an unknown reason she crossed into oncoming traffic.She struck the trailer of a truck in the road.Police say she died on scene.One child was taken to Boise by air ambulance, the other was transported to St. Luke's hospital in Jerome.
