Collegedale, TN : Motorcyclist killed in crash with vehicle in Hamilton County on Tuesday night, May 24, 2016

Collegedale police, along with other emergency personnel, responded to a fatal accident late Tuesday night at the 10600 block of Lee Highway, according to a news release.

Responders found a motorcyclist who had been involved in a crash with another vehicle. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead on scene.

The other vehicle's occupant was transported to a local emergency room with non-life-threatening injuries.

Traffic investigators from Collegedale Police and Hamilton County Sheriff's Office will be working together on the traffic investigation.

The motorcyclist's name will be released pending notification to the family.
