Sherman, TX : Two people injured in a rollover crash in Sherman on Thursday, March 9, 2017

Two people were injured Thursday in a rollover crash.

After the driver lost control of the vehicle, the SUV rolled off U.S. Highway 82.
Sherman Police said the red Ford Expedition was traveling in the inner lane of westbound Highway 82. At about 1:35 p.m., the driver veered the SUV to avoid debris in the roadway west of FM 1417.
Police said the vehicle started swerving and the driver over corrected. The vehicle then rolled three times off the right side of the roadway before coming to a stop right side up facing east.

The two occupants, a man and a woman, were transported to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said. One lane of Highway 82 was closed while crews cleared the scene.
