Tipton County , TN :Man crashed car while trying to outrun deputies on Friday , June 19th 2015

A man crashed his car while trying to get away from Tipton County deputies Friday afternoon.Deputies were trying to arrest Marvis DeShun Pollard after conducting an
undercover drug operation related to the purchase of methamphetamine.Deputies said Pollard rammed two Tipton County Sheriff's Office vehicles as deputies tried to take
him into custody. Pollard then took of driving toward Shelby County.The chase ended when Pollard lost control of his car, crashed, and trapped himself inside.
Pollard was taken to Regional Medical Center where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries. Nobody else was injured.Deputies did recover meth, oxycodone,
and cash during the operation.Pollard is charged with driving on a suspended license, reckless driving, evading arrest, aggravated assault, and possession of drugs.
