Worcester, MA : 21-year-old Fitchburg woman killed in crash on I-290 in Worcester on Sunday, 25th August 2019

A 21-year-old Fitchburg woman died in a Sunday morning crash in Worcester.

Massachusetts State Police said troopers were called to Interstate 290 eastbound around 7 a.m. for a report of a single-vehicle crash in Worcester.

A preliminary investigation shows the 21-year-old woman from Fitchburg was driving eastbound when her 2005 Kia Spectre left the roadway and crashed.

Authorities said a 25-year-old woman from Leominster had minor injuries from the crash. A 23-year-old Worcester woman was uninjured.
