Monett, MO : Woman arrested for meth possession after crash on Sunday, December 4th, 2016
Two people were injured Sunday in a wreck at 2:50 p.m. on Interstate 44, four miles west of Mt. Vernon.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Trisha Summer, 34, of Nixa, was driving a 2003 Kia Sedona eastbound when her vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned.
Summer suffered moderate injuries, and a passenger in the vehicle, Gary Ruble, 34, of Springfield, suffered minor injuries. Both were transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
Summer was wearing a safety device, and it is unknown if Ruble was wearing one. The vehicle was totaled.
At 3:30 p.m., Summer was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released for medical care.
