According to Florida Highway Patrol, the driver, 19-year-old Dominic Lee, was killed after he lost control and the Chevy pickup truck flipped multiple times.
Da'ja Clayton, 18, Rakeem Randall, 18, Breyuna Walker, 18, and Darnell Clayton, 18, were all taken to Holmes Regional Medical Center in serious condition. All four teens attend Gateway High School in Kissimmee.
Lee, who left behind a young son, graduated from Osceola High School last week. His friends said he dreamed of playing college football and was set to play for a small, out-of-state college.
"Dominic had the biggest dreams than anybody you could meet in your life,” friend Will Vidot said. "It's heartbreaking to see him gone. He (left) his son behind."
Friends and teammates remember Lee with fond memories.
"You could never know that he was in pain or had some type of problem. You would never know because he kept a smile on his face,” mentor Jules Hellingar said.
