Phoenix, AZ : Crash with semitruck seriously injures 1 in PhoenixA crash on Wednesday, 14th May, 2020

A crash involving a semitruck in Phoenix left one person seriously injured Wednesday morning, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were called to the area of Broadway Road and 83rd Avenue around 10 a.m. where they found the collision involving a semitruck and a passenger car, said Sgt. Calbert Gillett, a spokesman with the Sheriff's Office.

The driver of the passenger car was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, Sgt. Gillett said.
